Was the ancient Welsh poem “The Battle Of The Trees” inspiration for the song “The Trees” by Rush? Was it also maybe where Tolkien got the idea for the “Ents” (the walking trees)? You can be the judge:

Either way, both the song and this poem are very prescient allegories. similar to “The Parable of the Bees”.
