The composer Wagner (pronounced “Vahg-ner” on NPR classical stations lol) was close friends with Nietzsche and they shared an obsession with the Occult and Teutonic mythology (specifically “Parzival”).
IN FACT, Wagner would go on to compose one of his most famous operas from Parzival. It was their friendship and shared-obsessions that inspired Hitler.
