The “Wailing Wall” all world leaders visit is the site of the “The Third Temple” that is prophecied to be built around the time of a great global conflagration (war) that wipes out huge swaths of the population.
This is why “End of Days”-beliefs (eschatology) is unavoidable in geopolitics. Even if you don’t hold these beliefs yourself, the Aristocracy, power-centers, and “World shapers” clearly think this is important. And for that reason alone, it’s worth noticing and being curious about.
