Much like the term “facist” (which we covered here), many people use the term ‘Bourgeoisie’, but few seem to know what it actually means.
The “bourgeoisie” is NOT the rich, or even the wealthy business owners. According to Marx and Lenin, “bourgeoisie” actually refers to the “middle class” !!!
So when Lenin said his strategy was the GRIND them down, he wasn’t talking about the rich.
G. Edward Griffin called this out in his text “The Capitalist Conspiracy” (which you can read in full here.) The idea is to squeeze people with pressure “from above” and “from below”.
We’ve EXPERIENCED this strategy playing out in our lives: Politicians ignore rampant kitchen-table issues “from below” (like inflation and crime) while simultaneously pushing policies down “from above” (rampant inflation caused by fiscal/monetary malfeasance, taxation, etc). We are actuallying living through this.
It is stunning to realize we are (right now) experiencing Lenin’s playbook. Now why would that be, didn’t his side lose?
